I am redesigning my blog and adding a category to focus on my book series and writing as a hobby and business endeavor, This site will be a creative space where I gather information and advice that has helped me push through the most challenging parts of writing and publishing my first Urban Fantasy book series.
I have been through my fair share of websites, writers resource books, YouTube videos, and Facebook Groups in the last few years. Some of it has been extremely helpful and illuminating while others have been confusing and so overwhelming that it tosses me down a downward spiral of self doubt that leads to another night spent awake and basking in the glow of my laptop.
I will be sharing the writing resources I have found genuine, useful, and worth the price tag attached to them. I'd also like to talk about small bits of advice I have formed or received that really shook the nervous jitters and worry from my writing. I'd also like to focus on imagery and breaking the norm of what self published authors are and are not allowed to do.
Marketing, merchandise sales, author's communities, and operating your self publishing business legally are also very important subjects that I will focus on.
