Crochet Shawl Projects

I call this a Geometric Pattern Shawl. I created the pattern myself by combining a Granny square pattern with a simple double post+chain one pattern and then alternating between them every five rows. I used a skein of Caron Skinny Cake to create this scarf and I really like how it turned out. Here are some more pictures...
This is the YouTube video I watched to get the shawl started...

This next shawl is made with a German shell stitch also known as the Virus stitch.
I really enjoy creating object with this stitch because it is so repetitive. I think crocheting becomes meditative in a way when you know the stitch pattern from memory and just get going. ☺ Creating this made me really happy and I would like to make one in another color because it is so beautiful.

This next one is the first shawl I ever made and is a little funky. I probably should have found a pattern online instead of just winging it!
I kept seeing these pocket shawls on Etsy and really, really wanted to make one. Part of the fun of crochet projects for me is learning how the object is constructed. With this shawl I researched tons of pocket shawls and combined them all to create my own.
