This was my first successful acrylic pour painting and it made me so happy to see all of the intricacies mixing the metallic and matte paint created. I had a lot of fun making this and it spurred me to create more.

This is another one of my favorites because of how exciting it was to use stippling to isolate the part of the painting I found most interesting. The color pallet of the painting and the flow of the paint reminded me of the aurora borealis.

This painting was one of the first I made that is a combination of painting in real life and then scanning the painting and continuing to edit it on the computer. I enjoy digitally altering my work using GIMP and it was a learning experience to get a handle on the program but now I use it all of the time and love it.

Retrograde, 2021 by Annie Carraway
This is one of the only paintings that I have ever sold and I am very proud of it. I encased the painted canvas in epoxy resin so I hope it last forever and the person who bought it looks at it in 50 years and it makes them happy. I make so many things and they usually end up just sitting in my closet so it makes me really happy knowing someone else has it, even if it is just sitting in their closet collecting dust! ☺
